Facial balancing treats the face as one structure rather than a list of areas. Often the thing bothering you isn't where the problem is: a chin that reads as weak may be a projection issue, and a tired midface is usually volume loss higher up than people expect. Our Approach

Planned in stages, on purpose

This is the most planning-intensive work we do, and the treatment where restraint matters most. Filler placed structurally holds for a long time. Getting it wrong is expensive in both directions.

We assess proportion across thirds of the face, in profile as well as straight on, and we plan in stages. Structural filler is usually sequenced across multiple appointments (foundation first, refinement after) because placing everything at once removes your ability to judge each step.

Most patients need less than they think, placed higher than they expect.

What to expect

Consultation and mapping

A full facial assessment, front and profile. We'll show you what we're seeing and what we'd prioritize first.

Staged treatment

Foundational areas first, typically 45–75 minutes per session.

Recovery

Swelling and possible bruising for several days. Deeper structural placement bruises more readily than lip work.

Review and refine

We reassess at two to four weeks before adding anything further.

What we don't treat: under-eye hollowing

Under-eye filler is one of the most requested areas in aesthetics and we've chosen not to perform it. The tear trough is unforgiving: the risk of prolonged swelling, migration, and visible irregularity is high enough that we don't think the result justifies it for most patients. If under-eye hollowing is your main concern, we'll tell you plainly what will and won't help, including when the answer is better sleep, a different treatment, or nothing at all.

Results and maintenance

Structural filler typically lasts 12–18 months and often longer in deeper placements. Many patients maintain with a single annual touch-up rather than repeating the full plan.

Facial balancing is a plan, not a single product. We map it at your consultation and quote the whole plan before treating.

Juvederm: from $725 per syringe

Botox, Dysport and Letybo: $12, $4 and $10 per unit
Consultation: complimentary

Most balancing plans use more than one syringe across two or three areas, so the consultation is where the real number comes from. Financing through Cherry, Klarna and Affirm is available.

Oversight and standards

Treatments at Contour & Sculpt are performed by Kamryn Kettering, Certified Aesthetic Injector, trained through Monarch Master Injectors and the Allergan Medical Institute, under the medical direction of Dr. Rupal Patel, MD. Medical direction governs our dosing protocols, product sourcing, and clinical standards at both locations. We use FDA-approved products exclusively and maintain documented protocols for adverse-event response.

About pricing

Starting prices are listed at the top of every service page. Neurotoxin is priced per unit and filler per syringe, so the honest answer to “how much” still depends on how much you actually need, which we won't know until we've looked at your face. We tell you the exact number before anything is drawn up, and we'll tell you if we think you need less than you came in asking for. Facial balancing FAQs

We won't guess before the assessment, and we'd rather stage it than sell you a package. Most balancing plans run across two or three appointments.

No. Good balancing is the least detectable injectable work there is: the change registers as “you look well,” not “you look different.”

No. We've made a deliberate decision not to treat the tear trough. The risk of swelling, migration, and visible irregularity is high, and the area is unforgiving when it goes wrong. We'd rather turn the appointment down than place filler we're not confident about.

No. Filler restores volume and proportion; it doesn't lift loose skin. If surgery is genuinely the better answer for what you want, we'll say so.

Scope. Balancing plans the whole structure before placing anything, which is why the results hold together.
